Language Awareness Week

The NWU LIS will have a series of Awareness Weeks with focus on issues current in the NWU. First in this series will be Language Awareness week: 28 May – 1 June 2018

All the libraries will have book exhibitions on this topic.

Mr Siviwe Bangani, Manager Information Services (Mafikeng) will do a presentation on “The linguistic-cultural impact of Boloka: are all official NWU languages equal?”, based on a paper that has just been accepted by the African Journal of Library, Archives and Information Science.
